Rajesh founded July Systems with a vision of creating a mobile internet experience platform that integrates wireless networks and devices into a global superstructure for mass consumer reach. Though the vision of creating mobile internet medium has been integral to July Systems since 2001, Rajesh is the force behind the reconstitution of the company to its present avatar. He has introduced successful business models that leverage the strengths of both mature as well as emerging markets.

Under his stewardship, the company has experienced accelerated growth and 100% increase in revenues year-on-year. Today, headquartered in Los Angeles, July Systems has offices in New York City, Bangalore, Mumbai Atlanta, and Kuala Lumpur, a service footprint in over 150 countries, reaches over tens of millions users through its clients worldwide and generates over billion page views.

With his strong understanding of technology and innate talent for raising venture capital, Rajesh founded Gray Cell Technologies in 1996, the early age of telecom industry. As time proves later, this is when the seed of July Systems conception was sown. Gray Cell Technologies offered mobile phone-to-internet communication at a time when cross subscriber SMS was fragmented. Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology products and ePage were among Rajesh’s early contributions to telecom industry’s coming of age phenomenon. ePage, introduced by Rajesh with Motorola, was India’s first email over paging service.

In 1999, Gray Cell Technologies evolved into Unimobile and was moved to Silicon Valley. As the founder and CEO of Unimobile, Rajesh conceptualized and created world’s first mobile internet messaging service. Spearheaded by Rajesh, Unimobile developed and operated a wireless network connecting 500 mobile operators in 130 countries. Unimobile’s data delivery platform enables industry giants such as Motorola, Citibank, and Cisco to deliver data wirelessly. Eventually, Unimobile was acquired by VeriSign and soon after, July Systems came into existence.

Rajesh has been named by MIT’s Technology Review among ‘Global TR 100 Innovators’ in 2002 and has won the ‘Golden Mouse award’ in 2007 for his contributions to internet in India.

Based in Bangalore, India, where he lives with his family, Rajesh spends time at both the Bangalore and the US offices of July Systems.

Kelvin has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience with extensive focus on telecommunications, sports and enterprise solutions.

Kelvin joined July Systems with extensive international experience, having created strong alliances to build out the IP infrastructure and services during the growth of the internet and .com business. He likens the current growth of mobile to the challenges and opportunities of the 90’s and believes the opportunities for mobile will be even greater.

Prior to July Systems, Kelvin has held executive level positions at blue chip industry leaders like Sun Microsystems and Amdocs, and innovative start-ups including Solect Technology and The Broadband Advisory Group.

Kelvin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from University of New Hampshire, Plymouth and completed graduate studies in Business Management from Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Kelvin is based in Los Angeles.

Over the last 15 years Prem’s varied experience included Athlete Management for Asian sport icons like Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly and Shoaib Akhtar amongst others; Production and Distribution of television rights as well as Sponsorship Sales for governing bodies like the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL), Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Cricketers Benefit Fund Series (CBFS), Sharjah, Cricket Australia, Cricket New Zealand and the West Indies Cricket Board. He has also advised some of the worlds biggest brands on effective sponsorship and television buying strategies.

Gopal is responsible for the finance function at July Systems.

Gopal was Head of Finance at Unimobile (now acquired by VeriSign). As part of his role at Unimobile, he was in charge of Global Finance Legal and Administration across multiple geographies. In this capacity, Gopal skillfully handled the challenge of managing one of India’s first cross-nation venture capital financing scenarios in 1998.

Gopal earned an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani.

Vikas follows his own brand of agile development methodology to create cutting edge products that can be continuously adapted to different customer needs, without sacrificing the pace of product development.

Prior to July Systems, during 1996-2001, Vikas was the Chief Technology Officer at Unimobile (now acquired by VeriSign) where he was responsible for architecting and delivering various mobile consumer products – including the world’s first global cross-carrier two-way internet to mobile messaging virtual network. While at Unimobile, Vikas developed a virally propagated mobile integrated instant messaging service with over a million users.

Vikas has multiple patents for significant innovations in the mobile space to his credit.

Before joining July Systems, Julian was part of the early team at Unimobile Inc (acquired by VeriSign) where he managed Product User Experience and Marketing Communications. He managed teams that designed products in Paging, Voice, SMS, J2ME & WAP domains including the Unimobile Messenger, the world’s first internet to mobile Instant Messenger. He has managed global direct-to-consumer marketing programs and has experience in marketing mobile technology products and services to Telecom, Publishing and Advertising segment in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.

Julian has over 14 years of experience in mobile internet – from its humble beginnings as two line monochrome pagers, through its early development in the Voice, SMS and WAP platforms and onto the internet revolution in the gorgeous, power-packed smart phones that are commonplace today.

Before joining July Systems, Anjan was Delivery Head for BFS vertical at iGate Global Solutions Ltd. Prior to iGate, Anjan has spent 12 years at Infosys Technologies Ltd where he successfully traversed through various roles in Delivery, Consulting, Presales and Client facing space. His leadership stints include the role of Head-Delivery unit in the Hi-tech Manufacturing and Supply Chain Vertical at Infosys; Vice President and Center Head at GSS America Infotech.
